Switchfoot has a “Roadie For A Day” contest going on, where one fan will win a trip to see them perform live on May 8th in Sacramento! The prize includes airfare, hotel accommodations, meet and greet with the band, a $500 gift card to Journey’s shoe store, autographed Switchfoot memorabilia, and the winner gets to stand side stage during the show, among other things. Everyone who enters to win receives a free download of a live version of their song “Mess Of Me”. To find details on how to enter, visit switchfoot.com.

Family Force 5 has a brand new website. Their old website was exactly the same as their MySpace page, but this new one is entirely its own thing. It features new pictures, videos, tour dates, news, their merch store, newsletter sign-up, and it links you up to all their social networking pages including Twitter, Facebook, and more. Check it out at ff5online.com.

This weekend, Superchick’s song “Stand In The Rain” will be available for download for the video game Rock Band. They also have a new album coming out on April 20th called Reinvention, which is an album full of songs you know, but remixed and changed. About the album the band says, “DaVinci once said that art is never finished, only abandoned. For us, this couldn’t be more true. This is a chance for us to reinvent the songs to be closer to the vision we had for them in the beginning.” Find more details at superchickonline.com.
