Hawk Nelson hails from Canada, so their frontman Jason Dunn was getting a lot of grief from his neighbors in Tennessee about how the US was going to beat Canada in hockey in the Winter Olympics. Obviously NOW we know who ended up winning, but at the time he decided to take matters into his own hands. So he called his Canadian family and friends, who drove down to Tennessee to challenge his neighbors in a game of street hockey. To find out which team ended up winning, visit www.facebook.com/hawknelson and look for the YouTube video on their wall.

The Classic Crime’s frontman Matt MacDonald has a new side project he’s been working on called Skin And Teeth. The band falls into the acoustic experimental genre, and they describe themselves as “a band comprised of musicians who are often easily bored with life and who love to make music for music’s sake.” While this new band doesn’t have the pop rock sound of The Classic Crime, you may like Matt’s vocals paired up with the worshipful feel of their music. They have one song posted now, just visit www.myspace.com/skinandteeth.

Sanctus Real’s new album Pieces Of A Real Heart will be releasing next Tuesday, but you can listen to the entire album all week long leading up to the release. Just visit newreleasetuesday.com.
